The following examples are intended to illustrate prices for a variety of Retouching and Restoration work done by Capture Your Best studio. Since it is impossible to list and categorize every retouching option available, contacting me for a quote is a necessary part of the process. In reference to the three prices for each example, "Portrait Session 'favorite' image'" refers to those images entitled to Premium Retouching as part of your service (i.e., one for every hour of Photography service with Hourly Rate pricing, and for Package pricing, however many such images are included in a given Package). "Portrait Session" means that if the image is one you purchased as a result of a Portrait session with me (i.e., I took the photograph), other than a "Favorite," that is your discounted price; "'Outside' Image price" refers to all other images. Please note: If mailing is required (of prints, CDs, etc.), there will be a nominal Shipping charge in addition to the charge for labor. For guidelines, please see "Basic vs. Premium Retouching" on the previous page.
- Weight Reduction: Reducing weight is not only a complex process, but labor-intensive. While there will always be a charge for this service, the amount could be slight or substantial, depending on the details of the individual photograph. There are some photographs which, due to their quality, the position of the person, their clothing, etc., make it nearly impossible to remove pounds from the person without altering other parts of the image. Along with my quote, I will always give you the most accurate evaluation of the details as possible.
